Self Publishing

In the dim and distant past I was professionally published. Returning to writing some 3-+ years later I am neutral on the direction my publishing should take. Over the past few years I have been helping a good friend of mine to self-publish her books, and some of the lessons learned from that process will be documented here. The intention is to give any writer a toolkit they can use to help them self-publish, also to warn them of some of the traps out there for the unwary.

The tips and guides you find here will start by helping other authors with the technical aspects of self-publishing, starting from the very simple through to the more complex. However, at each stage my intent it to make the process as straightforward as I possibly can. So if you fancy your hand at publishing your own magnum opus, or even a short story, I hope to be able to guide you through the process.
